She appeared in the Disney XD series Kickin‘ It, as well as the Disney Channel Original Movie Girl vs. Disney Channel original series Monster I Didn’t Do It. She starred as Tandy Bowen / Dagger in the Freeform series Cloak & Dagger, the Disney XD series Spider-Man, and the Hulu series Runaways from 2018 to 2020.

Holt got her start in local theatrical shows. At the age of ten, she began starring in television ads for Hasbro, Kidz Bop 14, Mattel, Bratz dolls, Littlest Pet Shop, and Girl Gourmet. In the martial arts comedy Kickin’ It, which debuted on Disney XD on June 13, 2011, Holt was cast as a gymnast. She portrayed Kim in the series, appearing as a main character in seasons 1-3 and as a guest star in three episodes in season 4.
In November 2014, Holt joined the cast of Michael Carney’s drama Same Kind of Different as Me, which also starred Greg Kinnear and Renée Zellweger as her character’s parents. The film was released in October of 2017. Holt was cast as the lead in the independent comedy Class Rank, directed by Eric Stoltz, in November 2015.
Holt joined mobile gaming system firm PlayMG in 2013 as a spokesperson and part owner to assist the company in developing new versions of its app-based games. In March 2016, she was named a Neutrogena brand ambassador.
