Finneas Baird O’Connell, also known by his stage name Finneas, is an American singer-songwriter, actor, and record producer. He has written and produced music for a number of artists, including Billie Eilish, his sister. He has won 8 Grammy Awards among 13 all nominations, including nominations for the Big Four classes. Finneas has released a few singles as an independent artist, and his presentation EP, Blood Harmony, was released in October 2019. His debut studio collection Confident person was delivered through Interscope Records in October 2021.

Finneas had composed and delivered his song “Ocean Eyes” initially for his band, and gave it to Eilish when her dance educator requested that they compose a song for a movement. The song was shared on SoundCloud, where it received praise from numerous websites. Finneas’ manager connected with him in November 2015 to discuss Eilish’s true capacity.
He is the band’s lead vocalist and composer. The Slightlys performed at the 2015 Warped Tour. His most memorable solo performance , “New Girl”, was released in 2016, with the music video released in 2019. Finneas is one of 12 artists featured on Ringo Starr’s 2021 EP Zoom In, contributing sponsorship vocals to the song “Here’s to the Nights”.
The song “Till Forever Falls Apart,” which Finneas and Ashe released on March 2, 2021, was co-written and produced by him. Finneas shared the lead single “A Concert Six Months from Now” on August 5, 2021, along with the announcement that his debut studio album, Optimist, would be released on October 15, 2021, through Interscope Records.
