Australian businessman and billionaire Anthony Joseph Pratt is the executive chairman of Visy Industries and Pratt Industries in the United States, the largest privately held packaging and paper company in the world. He is the son of the late manufacturing magnate and Carlton Football Club president Richard Pratt and Jeanne Pratt AC, a charitable individual.

Three years later, Pratt moved to the United States to lead the company’s expansion there. Over the course of the following 15 years, Pratt Ventures grew 15-crease in deals and profit, through greenfield drives and the procurement of a few folded producing organisations that presently structure the core of Pratt Enterprises.
Fastmarkets RISI awarded Anthony the title of North American CEO of the Year in July 2020. Also in 2020, Pratt closed one of the biggest deals ever made in Australia’s manufacturing industry by purchasing Owens Illinois’ Australian assets for $1 billion and becoming Australia’s largest glass bottle manufacturer.
Then, in February 2021, Pratt made a promise to invest an additional $2 billion to increase the recycled content of Australian glass bottles from 30% to 70% and build more clean energy plants as part of the goal to halve the number of landfills and double the recycled content of manufactured products. He did this in the presence of Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison.
