About Ashley Banjo
Ashley Modurotolu Banjo MBE is an English road dancer, choreographer, actor and TV artist. He is the head of dance group troupe Diversity who won the 3rd series of Britain’s Got Talent in 2009. Banjo was a judge on the Sky1 talent show Got to Dance and co-moderator of the Saturday night BBC game show Can’t Touch This. In 2018 he has been an appointed authority on dancing on Ice.

Ashley Banjo Career
Along with his brother Jordan, they made a dance group close by their 9 friends and named it Swift Moves, which they later renamed Diversity. In 2007, their first year subsequent to shaping the group, they won the Street Dance Weekend competitions. This was before they decided to participate in “Britain’s Got Talent.”
In 2009, they tried out for “Britain’s Got Talent” and received consistent yes votes from each of the three Judges. During the semi-finals, they lost the public vote to Susan Boyle but the judges saved them as they won their vote against Natalie Okri. After six days, they were proclaimed the champs in the finals. Following their success, Banjo enjoyed some time off from school to put all his attention on his dancing career.
