On all of his social media platforms, Guzman goes by the handle Blesiv. He revealed in a March 14, 2019, YouTube video that he used to play games with the gamer tag Xander G, but had to create a new tag after being asked to join a clan to try out the Call of Duty hunt and destroy game mode.
He had to think of something original because everyone in the clan used Vexa as a prefix to their gamer tag. He was particularly fond of the song ‘6 God,’ the cover of which featured hands folded in prayer. He saw the image as a request for blessings and paired the term Bless with his favorite number, four. He wanted to use the tag Bless4, but it was already taken, so he made BlessIV out of Roman numerals. When short gamer tags became popular in the P.S.3 community, he altered his identity to Blesiv.

At the time, Guzman was dating Instagram model Hailey Orona. Their on-again, off-again romance resulted in a dramatic breakup due to their constant arguments.
