About Danny Gonzalez
American editorial YouTuber and performer Daniel James Gonzalez first gained notoriety in 2014 for his brief improv concerts on Plant. That same year, he started his primary YouTube channel. When Vine went out of business in 2017, he switched to YouTube full-time. His three individual channels and three group channels have aggregately acquired around 8.49 million followers, and 1.52 billion views, as of April 2023.
Danny Gonzalez Education
Daniel James Gonzalez was born on June 12, 1994, in Chicago, and spent his childhood in Wheaton, Illinois. Wheaton North High School was where he went. He and his friends used to upload short comedy sketches to YouTube as children in the middle of the 2000s. However, when he went to college, they stopped doing so. Gonzalez was shown an app called Vine by a friend in his sophomore year. It only allowed users to upload six-second short videos called “Vines.” Gonzalez was initially uninterested, but his favourite comedian Bo Burnham’s post on the app at the end of 2013 convinced him to start making Vines.
Danny Gonzalez Career
Small Joke served as the foundation for his early videos, which attempted to imitate Burnham’s. In mid 2014, he attempted to recognize his Plants by utilising enhancements, which not many Viners were doing at that point, including utilising green screens to embed himself into music recordings. With this tactic, Gonzalez’s Vines began to gain popularity. His most popular Vine was one in which he added shoes to dinosaurs in scenes from Jurassic Park (1993), while a digital voice sang, “What are those?” to the soundtrack.
From 2017 to 2018, Gonzalez composed, altered, and featured in different shorts and “Passageway Team” recordings for Hallway Advanced. Gooden also started a YouTube commentary channel, and the two started travelling to appear in each other’s videos. As a result, they became close friends.
Due to the similarity of their content, their fans often joke that they pretend to confuse the two YouTubers. Their 2019 We Are Two Different People Tour, which will feature YouTuber Kurtis Conner as a guest star, was inspired by this. Their first major live performance was the tour, which ran from September to October and featured music, effects, and theatrical elements interspersed with sketches and comedy routines.
