About Henry Kravis

American businessman, investor, and philanthropist Henry R. Kravis was born in 1944, and he is a co-founder of the global investment firm KKR & Co. Inc., in New York City. He has been involved in some of the most significant transactions in the history of business, such as the leveraged buyout of RJR Nabisco in 1989, which was discussed in the book “Barbarians at the Gate.” Kravis went to Claremont McKenna College and got his Bachelor of Arts degree.

In the 2016 US official political race, Kravis at first upheld Jeb Hedge before ultimately embracing Donald Trump.
