Kevin Wayne Durant also known by his initials KD, is an American master athlete for the Phoenix Suns of the Public B-ball Alliance (NBA). He was selected second overall by the Seattle SuperSonics in the 2007 NBA draft after playing college basketball for the Texas Longhorns. He spent nine seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder, which changed its name in 2008, before signing with the Golden State Warriors in 2016, where he won two NBA championships and the NBA Finals MVP award.
