Mia Gypsy Mello da Silva Goth is a well-known British actress. Goth made her feature film debut in the sensual art film Nymphomaniac in 2013, after briefly modeling as a teenager. She gained popularity with films such as The Survivalist in 2015, High Life and Suspiria in 2018, and Emma in 2020. Goth made a name for herself in 2022 when she acted in the X slasher film series chapters X and Pearl, which she also co-wrote. In 2023, she starred in the horror thriller Infinity Pool.

Goth was born on 25 October 1993, in Guy’s Hospital in London, England. Her father is Canadian of Nova Scotia origin and her mother is Brazilian. Her maternal grandparents are the Brazilian actress Maria Gladys and the Jewish-American artist Lee Jaffe. When Goth was a few weeks old, her mother, who was 20 year old at the time needed helps to raise her, so they relocated to Brazil. Goth was raised by her mother, a waitress, who was their only source of income.

After completing her sixth form, she was cast with Charlotte Gainsbourg and Willem Dafoe in the “The Gun” portion of Lars von Trier’s Nymphomaniac.
Goth had the lead role in Ti West’s slasher movie X, which debuted in March 2022 to positive reviews. Goth played the elderly Pearl with a lot of prosthetic makeup. After that, Goth co-starred with Alexander Skarsgard in Brandon Cronenberg’s suspense thriller Infinity Pool.
Her performance was praised for the picture, which had its world premiere at the 2023 Sundance Picture Festival. It was released in the US on January 27, 2023, to a favourable review. In the X sequel MaXXXine, Goth will play Maxine Minx once more. The criminal thriller Sweet Dreams features Goth. Goth and LaBeouf gave the impression that they were married on October 10, 2016, during a Las Vegas ceremony conducted by an Elvis impersonator.
