Rita Sahatçiu Ora is a British singer and songwriter who was born on November 26, 1990. She rose to prominence in February 2012, when she participated in DJ Fresh’s smash “Hot Right Now,” which reached number one in the United Kingdom. Her first studio album, Ora, comes at First in the United Kingdom in August 2012.
Ora began performing at open mic nights all over London, as well as in her father’s pub on occasion. Soon after, Ora’s managers contacted the American label Roc Nation and informed them about her. Ora was one of Roc Nation’s earliest signees, signing a recording and publishing deal in December 2008.
From 2013 to June 2014, Ora dated Scottish DJ Calvin Harris. In 2016, Ora began dating American musician Andrew Watt. They had been dating for two years until September of this year. They reconciled in January 2019 but split up for the second time in October 2019. She has been dating New Zealand filmmaker Taika Waititi since 2021. They are getting married in August 2022.
