Canadian YouTuber Cristine Raquel Rotenberg Rotenberg was most well-known for her nail art videos. From 2014 to 2022, she ran the YouTube channel Simply Nailogical, which had more than 8 million subscribers. She currently runs “Holo Taco,” “Simply Not Logical,” “SimplyPodLogical,” and “Simply Not Logical.” Holo Taco is a nail polish brand owned by Rotenberg.

Cristine Rotenberg was born in Richmond Hill, Ontario, on 17 October 1988. From 1996 to 2001, Rotenberg was featured in 15 commercial ads for different youngsters’ items including Furby and Fib Finder as well as an Insurance business, and a dramatic creation of Wizard of Oz.
She appeared in the 2002 film Charms for the Easy Life as Young Sophia when she was just 13 years old. She gave up acting roles after this one to concentrate on her education. In 2014, Rotenberg got a master’s degree in human science with a focus in criminal science from Carleton College. Her lord’s proposal is on the subject of self-injury in detainees because of jail conditions.
Simply Nailogical Career
Rotenberg’s Simply Nailogical YouTube channel was sent off with her first video on 18 June 2014. The channel was gone before by her Simply Nailogical blog which started in February 2014. She posted photos of her nail art on the blog and Instagram and regularly updated her blog til June 2016.
Rotenberg started out making short nail art videos on YouTube that were less than two minutes long. She eventually appeared on camera and began to lengthen the tutorials later. “100+ Coats of Nail Polish #POLISHMOUNTAIN” was Rotenberg’s June 2016 video of applying more than 100 coats of nail polish. The video immediately viral, and impacted numerous other YouTubers like Jenna Marbles. The Day to day Dab called it one of 2016’s most well-known video trends.
Rotenberg has since branched out from nail art tutorials to videos about different topics. There are two secondary channels in Rotenberg: “Simply Not Logical” was made in September 2015 and it mainly contains video blogs. In February 2020, the podcast “SimplyPodLogical” went live. Mazowita and Rotenberg spoke with Dr. Howard Njoo, the deputy chief public health officer of the Canadian government, about COVID-19 in an episode of the podcast that aired in April 2020.
Holo Taco Launch
In July 2019, Rotenberg sent off her nail polish line called Holo Taco. In 2017, she started coming up with ideas for the business, and in 2018, she started making polished prototypes. 3 silver holographic top coats and two opaque polishes were included in the first launch of Holo Taco. Within two hours, the entire collection was sold out.
Rotenberg’s aim with Holo Taco is the formation of top-notch nail shines with a unique emphasis on special effects shines, including holographic, multi-chrome, and radiant parts and finishes. Holo Taco has stated that it wants to keep prices as low as possible, despite the higher production costs associated with special effects polishes. Holo Taco has sold more than 1 million bottles of nail polish as of 2022.
