About Steven Rales
Steven M. Rales is a businessman and film producer from the United States. Danaher Corporation was co-founded by him and his brother Mitchell Rales in 1984. Products in the life sciences, dental, diagnostics, environmental, and applied solutions industries are developed and manufactured by Danaher, a global innovator in science and technology. From 1984 to 1989, Steven Rales led Danaher Corporation as CEO, and he currently leads the company as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Steven Rales works for Danaher Corporation but is also involved in the film industry. He has delivered various movies, including “The French Lieutenant’s Lady,” “The Decision,” “The Hours,” and “Awesome Mr Fox.” Some of these films have been recognized by critics and are up for Oscar nominations. Together with his brother Mitchell Rales, he left his father’s real estate company in 1979 to start Equity Group Holdings. They purchased a diverse range of businesses through the use of junk bonds: Mastershield, a manufacturer of vinyl siding, was the first, followed by Mohawk Rubber Company and Diversified Mortgage Group. They changed the name to Broadened Home Loan Financial backers, in 1978, and afterwards Danaher in 1984.
Rales established the film production organisation Indian Paintbrush in 2006. The organisation works intimately with producer Wes Anderson and has delivered outstanding movies like Moonrise Kingdom, The Grand Budapest Hotel, and Isle of Dogs.
