American voice performer Susan Alice Bennett has sung as a backup singer for Burt Bacharach and Roy Orbison in the past. Since the introduction of the Siri personal assistant service on the iPhone 4S on October 4, 2011, she is best known as the female American voice of the service. She was the voice of Siri until the iOS 7 update was delivered on September 18, 2013.
