Nicki Minaj is a rapper, singer, and songwriter born Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty on December 8, 1982. She is known for her musical versatility, explosive rap flow, alter egos, and accents. She rose to prominence as a popular music influencer after releasing three mixtapes between 2007 and 2009. Pink Friday (2010), Minaj’s debut album, topped the US Billboard 200 list; its lead single “Super Bass” peaked at number three on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and was certified diamond by the RIAA.

She sparked debate with her forthright opinionated judging style and numerous clashes with fellow judge Mariah Carey. Minaj departed the show after one season.

Minaj’s fragrance brand was initially introduced in September 2012. She collaborated with ‘Give Back Brands’ to launch her debut fragrance, “Pink Friday,” which received three 2013 FiFi Awards nominations for Fragrance of the Year, Best Packaging, and Media Campaign of the Year.
