Piero Lardi Ferrari born on 22 May 1945. Enzo Ferrari and Lina Lardi, his mistress, have a son named Piero Ferrari. Also, he is Dino Ferrari’s younger brother, with whom he shares a father. Dino passed away on June 30, 1956, at the age of 24, after being given a diagnosis of Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Despite being 11 years old when Dino passed away, Piero never had the chance to see his older brother in person.

Enzo included Piero as one of his primary successors following Dino’s passing and gave him a 10% ownership interest in the Ferrari business. When Lina Lardi was employed by the Modena coachbuilder Carrozzerie Orlandi in the late 1930s, Enzo had first met her. Soon after, the two started dating. Their son Piero was born on May 22, 1945, and Enzo and Lina remained together until Ferrari’s passing in 1988.
