Stefano Pessina is an Italian-Monegasque extremely rich person money manager; He is Walgreens Boots Alliance’s executive chairman and the company’s single-largest shareholder. He moved on from the Polytechnic College of Milan in atomic designing prior to beginning his profession in the scholarly world and later joining the statistical surveying firm ACNielsen in Milan. Stefano Pessina Career

Pessina was born in Pescara. Pessina was raised between Milan, Como, and Naples. In 1977, Pessina assumed control over his family’s drug distributor (possibly Petrone Group) in Naples and transformed it into Partnership Sante, a Franco-Italian drug discount bunch. In 1997, it merged with Coalition UniChem. He was its CEO from 2001 to 2004. He started out as a deputy chairman before becoming chairman.

The organisation merged with Boots Gathering PLC in 2006 and was taken confidential in July 2007. Pessina is the Executive Chairman of Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA), where he was chairman of Alliance Boots from 2007 to 2014. Pessina is a director of WBA as well. He is a Consumer Goods Forum director. Pessina resigned from his position as CEO of WBA in July 2020 to take on a more hands-off role and succeed Jim Skinner as executive chairman.
