In 2016, Paul established the entertainment group Team 10. On January 17, 2017, his 20th birthday, it was reported that he had established the media company TeamDom with $1 million in funding to establish a teen entertainment-focused influencer marketing management and creative agency.
Danhua Capital, Horizons Alpha, Vayner Capital, Sound Ventures & A-Grade Investments, and Adam Zeplain were among the investors. Paul released another single, “These Days,” on December 13, 2019, along with a music video starring model Julia Rose. Jake raps about his previous long-distance relationship with his ex-girlfriend Alissa Violet in the song. The song was removed from all streaming services less than a year later.

Paul started dating individual American YouTuber and social media character Tana Mongeau in April 2019. Although many fans and commentators doubted the couple’s engagement, they did announce their engagement in June 2019.
Paul and Mongeau married in Las Vegas on July 28 of that year. InTouch later reported that the officiant was not licensed by the state of Nevada and that the couple had not obtained a marriage license prior to the ceremony. The marriage was not legally binding as a result.
