Lizzo is an American singer, rapper, and flautist whose ideals of optimism and empowerment connected with audiences and propelled her to global prominence in the early twenty-first century. Lizzo remarked that her life began to improve when she stopped comparing herself to others and began to accept herself for who she was. She moved to Minneapolis in 2011 after beginning to sing. She shared the stage with other bands, including Lizzo & The Larva Ink.
She was also a founding member of the Chalice, a female rap and R&B group that released the album We Are the Chalice in 2012. In 2013, Lizzo was a founding member of Grrrl Prty, which prided itself on being “a celebration of femininity and unsheathed swagger.” After releasing two EPs, the band disbanded in 2015. During this period, she also sang on Prince’s 2014 album Plectrumelectrum.
Lizzo’s Collaboration
Lizzo signed a production deal with Amazon Studios in August 2020 to collaborate on future projects. Her debut endeavour was Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls, an unscripted reality competition series. The series debuted on March 24, 2022.
