After being the richest man on earth for nearly two decades, Bill Gates has recently been dethrone from the first spot in the list of the richest personalities on Earth. In April 2022, this billionaire entrepreneur had an estimated net worth of over $129 billion, according to Forbes. 

He was the fourth richest person in the world, with Elon Musk taking first place. In January 2023, his net worth had come down to $103.4 billion, as per Edudwar. His massive wealth allows him to use his influence in many ways – he is an avid philanthropist who supports countless global charities and organizations.

Even though he stepped down from his position as CEO in 2000, Bill has still achieved numerous accolades. He has been award honorary degrees from both Harvard and Cambridge, given the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and declared a Living Legend by The Library of Congress.
