About Mohammed Bin Salman
Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, more commonly referred to by his initials MBS or MbS, is Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Additionally, he holds the positions of chairman of the Council of Political and Security Affairs and chairman of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs.
Even prior to his appointment as prime minister in 2022, he was regard as Saudi Arabia’s de facto ruler. He filled in as pastor of protection from 2015 to 2022. He is King Salman’s seventh son. In an effort to boost the image of his government, Mohammed has advocated for reforms.

Mohammed Canister Salman was born on 31 August 1985 to Sovereign Salman container Abdulaziz and his third life partner, Fahda bint Falah Al Hithlain. Fahda was Rakan bin Hithlain’s granddaughter and Dhaydan bin Hithlain’s great-granddaughter when they were Al Ajman tribe leaders. The Al Ajman tribe fought against the Al Saud in 1915 under Dhaydan’s leadership, and Salman’s uncle Saad bin Abdul Rahman was killed in the battle of Kanzan.

Mohammed worked for a number of years in the private sector after graduating from college before becoming his father’s personal assistant. He worked for the Saudi Cabinet as a consultant for the Experts Commission. He entered politics as a special advisor to his father when he was governor of Riyadh Province on December 15, 2009, when he was 24 years old.
King Salman appointed his son Mohammed as deputy crown prince and his nephew Muhammad bin Nayef as crown prince in April 2015. At a meeting between his father and President Barack Obama at the end of 2015, Mohammed bin Salman defied protocol by delivering a speech that criticised American foreign policy.
