American YouTuber Zachary Hsieh, better known by his online handle ZHC, His videos of custom art challenges and drawings are well-known. In 2016, while Hsieh was a student at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, he started his first channel on YouTube. Hsieh started out by posting art tutorials online. Hsieh was born on January 14, 1999, in San Jose, California. He has always had an interest in art and wanted to be an artist for Marvel Comics. He was inspired to practise comic book style du pape le art by illustrated novels like Captain Underpants. He made a commitment to practise drawing for at least 12 hours per day when he was 16 years old. He proceeded to learn at the School of Visual Expressions in New York City. In 2016, while he was a student at the school, he started his YouTube channel. Later, he dropped out to focus on practising his art online.

When Hsieh first started his YouTube channel, most of his videos were tutorials, like how to crosshatch and refill Copic markers. After a 2018 “re-drawing” video in which he created hyperrealistic copies of a friend’s drawings, his channel went viral. His content then evolved into drawing competition videos and vlogs. He also started making stunt-philanthropy videos in the Mr Beast style and hosting giveaways, competitions, and marathon live streams.

Night Media, a creator management company, signed Hsieh in April 2020. Hsieh started the YouTube channel ZHC Shorts in September 2020 to distribute YouTube Shorts content.

In February 2021, following prepping claims against previous host James Charles, it was reported that Hsieh would have the second time of the YouTube Firsts show Moment Force to be reckoned with.

In March of that year, Hsieh made available on the Nifty Gateway marketplace a collection of NFT artwork titled Critters By ZHC.

ZHC Appearance

Hsieh’s content has expanded to include charitable painting of everyday objects for people in his art videos. Hsieh and his team of more than 24 artists painted classrooms at Strive Prep Montbello in Denver during the COVID-19 pandemic. He also painted murals at AdventHealth For Children in Orlando, Florida, and gave the hospital iPads and $240,000.
