Edward P. Roski Jr. is an American businessman and philanthropist who was born in 1938. As president of Majestic Realty, he is a billionaire who, through his company, owns more than 83 million square feet of real estate across the United States. From 1978 to 1994, he held the positions of executive vice president and chief operating officer. He owns the Silverton Las Vegas and is a partial owner of the Los Angeles Kings and Lakers.

Roski was born in Oklahoma in 1938. His father was the un-high school-educated son of a poor Polish immigrant family. Roski served in the US Naval force during The Second Great War, then moved the family to Southern California, where he established Lofty Realty in 1948. Roski Jr. went to Loyola Secondary School in Los Angeles, and moved on from the College of Southern California in 1962, with a four-year certification in land and money. In 1966, he joined Majestic Realty.
Roski signed up for the US Marine Corps subsequent to graduating in 1962. He reported to the First Marine Brigade after attending the Marine Corps Base Quantico Basic School and was later assigned to the 1st Battalion, 4th Marines. In 1965, Roski was conveyed from Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Narrows to South Vietnam. He received two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star Medal for his wounds sustained in Chu Lai during Operation Starlite.
Roski was given the Semper Fidelis Award in 2000 by General James L. Jones and the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation. In 2007, Roski established the Place that is known for the Free Establishment to help war veterans and families, and he has offered more than $10 million to its endeavours.
