Israeli businesswoman and philanthropist Shari Arison was born in the United States. She is the proprietor of Arison Ventures, which comprises a few business organisations, and of The Ted Arison Family Establishment, which contains a few charitable associations that work as its auxiliaries. She was Bank Hapoalim’s controlling shareholder for 21 years before selling some of her shares in November 2018 made her no longer the bank’s controlling shareholder. On August 6, 2018, she sold her 22-year ownership of Shikun & Binui to the Saidoff Group.
