The current ruler of Dubai is Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, an Emirati politician and royal who also serves as vice president, prime minister, and minister of defence for the United Arab Emirates. He is the third son of Dubai’s ruler and former vice president, Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
