However, the website was taken down.

Wang developed Xiaonei, or “On Campus,” a Chinese version of Facebook in 2005. Wang had to give up the successful website because of financial difficulties. Renren is the new name given to the website by its new owners. Wang developed Fanfou, a Chinese version of Twitter, in 2007. It was China’s first major microblogging site, but the government quickly took it down due to political-sensitive content.
